CERVICAL DYSTONIA

Dr. Farias' in-person seminar for Cervical dystonia in Porto, Portugal

April 11th, 12th, 13th, 2024

The in-person seminar is designed to help patients affected by cervical dystonia by practicing and learning strategies and exercises for managing and recovering from the disease. The exercises are designed to produce gradual improvements in symptoms by stimulating structural and functional changes in the nervous system (neuroplasticity).

The seminars offer the chance to be observed by Dr. Farias as you perform your exercises, tailoring the training to your individual needs and getting answers to your specific questions.

The in-person seminar is designed to be the perfect complement to online training on the platform.

Seminars can be attended by new patients, or patients who have been practicing the training protocol and want follow-up advice.

The schedule is:

Day 1:from 14.00h to 18.30h

Day 2: from 9.30h to 14:00h

Day 3:from 9.30h to 14:00h

The maximum number of participants is 10.

Classes will focus on group and individual practice, supervised by Dr. Farias.

During the workshop, Dr. Farias will explain the theory, answer your questions, give practical exercises, and work with all the clients (not in private).

During the sessions, Dr. Farias will evaluate, individually, which muscles are working too hard and which are not working enough. After the assessment, he will design specific tailor-made exercises for you.

Classes will be given in English.

Return/Refund Policy

1- A full refund will be provided for the workshop canceled with a minimum of 5 business days’ notice. If a session is canceled within 5 business days of the start time, a refund of 60% of the fee will be provided.

2-The organizers of these sessions reserve the right to cancel because of unforeseen circumstances. Unless due to acts of nature, the cancellation will be announced one month prior to scheduled sessions. In these cases, deposits and fees will be refunded. However, the organizers will not be responsible for cancellation costs, such as travel or hotel expenses.
